Top Five Books in 2014

Bonjour! Only 4 days until Christmas, isn't that crazy! And only 11 more days of 2014, where has this year gone? Looking back I thought that I have read a few really good books this year so I thought why not share them with you guys? Here are my top five favourite books of 2014!

Number 1:
The Perks of being a Wallflower
This is an amazing young adult novel. It is the diary of a teenage boy as he goes through his years in high school. It includes all the ups and downs of school life, relationships and puberty.

Number 2:
 Reliquim
This is the third in the Delirium trilogy and I have mentioned these books in a previous post but I just have to express again how well the storyline is put together. You beckon attached to the characters and you realise the conflict between types of people. This is a futuristic book, based in America and deserves as much attention as the Hunger Games.

Number 3:
The Book Thief
This is the story of a German girl living in the time of World War Two. It is narrated by death who catches people as they fall to their death. She comes to a new part of Germany and learns how to read. This book shows love, friendship and loss.

Number 4:
Looking for Alaska
Looking for Alaska is about a boy who goes to college and meets new people. He meets this girl named Alaska and of course falls in love then halfway through the book a big plot twist happens; I'm not going to spoil it though;)

Number 5:
Will Grayson, Will Grayson
I really enjoyed this book, it was full of fun but had a hint of seriousness. One of the main characters has an amazing personality. It is about a boy who meets this other boy and then it just shows their relationship from there. SPOILER ALERT: The end is very happy and good:)

Thank you for reading my post. There are a lot more books I have read throughout 2014 but these are my very favourites. I would've included The Hunger Games trilogy or The Fault in our Stars but I read them in 2013:)
Hope you have a good Christmas x
