At this time of year my "to do list" is full. Revising for mock exams, homework, work experience, Christmas and of course everything else life comes with. So I find organisation key in my everyday routines. I always have a "to do list" even if only little things are on it like "clean the dishes". Not being organised is one of those things that make me feel anxious and worried. I find things pile up until my brain explodes so I write them down whether it is on my phone or just a notepad. This really helps as you can get them done and sorted out of your way. Recently I have been piled up with lots of responsibilities. school work is the main one. I feel my life revolves around the school, I don't want that to be. Since starting year ten, work has doubled in quantity. I don't know if it is just my school or everyone's. I know if you do A-Levels you may be thinking "oh well that's nothing compared to this". I know but I just want to say everyone has to go through GCSEs, they're difficult.
I write all my homework down in a list too, lists help a lot. I then tick them off as I get them done. I also make sure the place I work in is a place I enjoy being in e.g my room.
I think being organised comes naturally to some people but there are people who find it difficult. Start off with making lists, maybe even devote a special notebook for it. Anything to help you keep on top of things and have a fresh mind.
I give all my support to people going through exams or just a bad time. I still feel stressed, myself, over schoolwork but I just need to remember that everyone's going through the same thing. You aren't the only one. Good luck to everybody.
Thank you for reading x
